The development of technical infrastructure of the Bydgoszcz Industrial Park

The Company has been carrying out the undertakings specified in the "Development Strategy" as strategic objectives. The investment's aim is to prepare suitable investment areas and create modern technical infrastructure for investors and lessees conducting business activity within the Park’s grounds.

In 2009, the preparation work was accomplished, including, but not limited to, preparation of the design documentation and the feasibility study. The application for financial aid for the project, entitled "The development of technical infrastructure of Bydgoszcz Industrial Park" was filed with the Marshal's Office in Toruń on 5th November 2009 as a part of Priority Axis 5. Improvement of the competitiveness of enterprises Measures 5.6 Complex development of investment areas. The investment obtained financial aid from the European Regional Development Fund within the Regional Operational Programme of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province for the years 2007-2013, as well as from state budget funds. The agreement on financial aid was entered into on 2nd March 2010. BPPT began to carry out the material scope of the project on 31st May 2010 by transferring the building site to STRABAG Sp. z o.o.

The investment is the largest undertaking in the history of BPPT. The main aim of the project is to create conditions for conducting business activity for enterprises – investors who are planning to locate their business within the area of Bydgoszcz, especially in the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park. The indirect objectives include: development of a part of the Park with infrastructural networks (building roads with lighting, pavements and bicycle tracks, a water-pipe network and sewage system), creation of an external road axis connecting Glinki Street through the Park with Bydgoszcz ring road (national road no. 10) and creation of internal roads in the activated part of the Park, including an area of over 70 ha of investment plots.
